Epilux 610 is a general purpose epoxy anti-corrosive primer used as a blast or holding primer in new construction structural steel and as a lining in water tanks. The product offers excellent anti-corrosive performance, good wetting properties and outstanding adhesion to blasted steel.
Uses: Application of Epilux Floor Primer is recommended for all industrial floors; clean rooms, parking bays, show rooms etc. where Epoxy self leveling Floor Coating systems are to be used over concrete surfaces
Substrate temperature should be between 150 -350 C. Relative humidity during application should not be more than 80%. Substrate moisture content should be lower than 5%. The two packs consisting of base and hardner should be mixed in the ratio of 2:1 (w/w), by adding the contents of hardner to the base with a slow speed stirrer and obtain a homogeneous mix. No thinning has to be done for application of primer. Application is suggested by brush and to ensure primer is forced to all pores of concrete by hard brush application. For highly absorbant surface a second coat of primer may be required; consult Berger technical team.
